Hi all. I am going to buy a DVD recorder and can't make up my mind whether to go for the DRM1SL or the DRM10. I'm not into doing anything special with the machine, I just want one that will cover most bases, and that will perform pretty well. I've seen the DRM1SL for about £238.00 and the DRM10 for about £227.00. As a lot of forum members will have a lot more knowledge than myself about DVD recorders I am hoping that somebody can guide in the best direction. I believe that the DRM1SL has now been superceded by the DRM10. Thanks, spannerman.

DRM10 has progressive scan, the DRM1 doesn't. Can't remember what else the DRM10 offers over its predecessor but as its cheaper, get it anyway. Good machines btw :)
