    JVC DLA-X7 Projector in Black.
Brought just over 2 years ago for £6499.
It is in the original box with instructions and purchase receipt.
I don't have any 3D glasses or emitter.
There is about 10 months warranty remaining on it.
I replaced the original bulb with the new model after 700 hrs due to dimming. It now has the latest version bulb with cooling fins fitted and has done about 160 hrs.
The projector and remote control are in excellent condition and comes with a Black Techniq low profile ceiling mount which is also in excellent condition.
Im looking for about £2400. But I really don't know what I should be asking for it. I do however think this is a fair price due to its condition and low hours.

I have to look but I think the 3D emitter is in a box in the loft, if so you can have that as well, but I did sell the glasses to a friend. But the money you are offering is not enough. You are welcome to view and see the unit working and it is in like new condition. 3D IR glasses can be picked up for £25 a pair on the internet so these items being missing do not really justify such a low offer compared to what I was asking. As it stands I will take £2100 if I can find the emitter or a little cheaper if I can't.

I'm torn as to whether to go for a minimal step up in quality from my 350 to the X7 or wait for the quantum leap with 4k, it's only a matter of time before one of the larger manufacturers break ranks and introduce a model in the £4/5k bracket, also Optoma are about to launch an LED model for £3k.

With JVC, the biggest bugbear for me are the lamps losing their brightness. My 350 looked spectacular when i first brought it, beautiful and bright with eye popping color but the shine soon wears off as the bulb quickly loses it's initial vibrancy.

I hope you didn't think i was being rude by making that offer i based it taking all of these points into consideration, having ownwd a JVC for a couple of years now.

The most i could stretch to would be £1,600 including the emitter, if that is still too low i completely understand and wish you good luck with the sale

    Best of luck

    Danny

From what I've read on the forums they have cured the bulb dimming issues with the new third generation bulb. This is what I have fitted. I'm sorry but its not enough. I may have considered £2000 but I won't go as low as £1600 as the projector cost £6500 and the ceiling mount cost £150 and it has only been fitted 2 months ago.

Jvc had some serious issues with the first generation of bulbs, such as dimming after just 500 hours. They released a version 2 bulb which cured the dimming problems, probably some cheap Chinese make on generation one. I had a dimming issue on mine after 16 months and they replaced it for the third generation model that has cooling fins added. People on the forums have been using this model that I have for over 2000 hours without issue, other than dimming from fair usage on it.

Remember JVC projectors also add 1 hour to the bulb counter every time you turn it on, even if its only been on for 5 mins to test something.

I'm sorry Danny its not going to happen. I have been offered £1900 by a friend and declined. I'm not going to go under £2000 and that's if I don't have to sort through boxes in the loft to find an emitter, to be honest if u want 3D I would buy the RF unit at £95 and a few pairs of the £15 samsung glasses to start off.
Remember this unit is in mint condition and still has warranty left on it.

Wrong time of year I've been told. Everyone is out and about enjoying the sun we had. Winters on its way though, and everyone will be indoors enjoying there movies. Lol

I am incredibly tempted by this. I've currently got a pioneer krf9000, how much of an increase in performance would I likely see? And has anyone got an idea of what sort of price I could get for it if I were to sell it? Approx 2 years old, 600 hours on the bulb.

Would you be posting this or collection only mate? You're just too far away for me to consider the latter I'm afraid.

The ceiling mount is like new and comes with the cable cover. It is in black and is a really nice mount that keeps the projector close to the ceiling but hides the rear cables if you use the included cable cover that can be removed. It will have a few small marks where the bolt heads tighten against the paint work but you wont see them. It cost me £150 last year and only got put up a few months ago. If someone the projector and didn't need the mount Im sure they could arrange for the ceiling mount to be sold to you. But for the time being I would like to offer it complete. I have found the emitter new in the box so that will be included and if someone offers me £2100 I will accept.
