I bought a JVC GR-DVL510 camcorder in the US recently (PAL system). I have been unable to find any information online or in magazines about this model. Any suggestions where I might found out a bit more?

Are you sure it's a 510 and not a 150? There is a current model GR-DVL150, 2.5" lcd screen, 520 lines resolution, digital nightscope, 800,000 pixel CCD, DV out, Still out, 300x Digital zoom, stabiliser, effects, light.

Most definitely a 510. It has 500x Digital zoom, DV in/out, USB connection and uses Multimedia Card for the snapshots.
