I am trying to play back the image on my TV with the date and time displayed on screen.

In the camcorder menu it has 2 settings lcd and lcd/tv and i have tried both yet nothing on screen other than what was recoreded but no date and time displayed. It is on the camcorder LCD

    What am i to do!

It is a JVC SD Highband mini DV camcorder and i have lost the manual

    Thanks

    Azz

Well I haven't got a JVC camcorder but if I did and I had lost the manual I would go to http://www.jvc.co.uk and download another copy of the manual.

The general rule with JVC DV Cameras is to press and hold the display button for a few second to turn the OSD on/off. This works for most, but not all, models.

Failing that, Beejaycee's suggestion is spot on.
