Ok, so i have an NTSC Xbox with an Advanced Scart Cable, which is RGB scart.

When i connect the Xbox to the regular scart socket, the picture is fine and how it should be, but when i connect the scart to one of the RGB sockets, the picture is blurry and less defined.

I thought i was missing something, so i turned the S-Video mode on with the Xbox connected to the RGB socket, and it turned black and white. The picture was very sharp.. but black and white.

    Any ideas?

Sounds like your TV can't handle the NTSC signal.

The X-Box lead is not outputting an S-Video signal (although some do) so the S-video scart on the TV is only picking half of the S-Video signal (B&W, luminance(?)) from the composite signal from the X Box.
