I read in the Dec’04 issue of what video and TV mag that a reader had a problem when viewing R1 VD/NTSC DVD’s in that the colours kept flicking, I have a JVC AV32P10EK TV that is doing the same but only in the bottom left corner, I have checked and both DVD (Sony DVP-NS355) and TV are set to RGB.

I have contacted the repair company as I still have a warranty, they came out looked very perplexed and took the TV away, they have since told me the tube is to be replaced, do you think this will solve the problem or should they try a similar software fix?

I hope you can help me as they have only left me with a 21" portable TV with one 1 scart connection and I need my TV back.

    Many thanks
