    My Parents have one in the bedroom- personally think the picture is pretty spot on although the sound is a bit weak- Am currently looking at the 32" version with NTSC prog scan.

    The 32 does look nice but unless a crave a wall out...i 28" is all that
    will fit....or shouldi move house...hmmm Cheers

    There's a (admittedly quite rare) 28" version with prog scan if you wish to save your walls.

    Tons of fun - Have your parents set the TV up correctly? Avoid the pseudo surround setting which can drown out the dialogue. The sound should defenately be good enough for the bedroom. I've got one in the lounge and I'm very happy.

    I'll re phrase that Preston- the sound is indeed perfectly adequate for the bedroom but I would still say it is on balance the weakest point of a very fine telly- was a bit gutted when I saw that my Dad's second string telly had a better picture (not to mention 3 scart inputs) than my first string Toshiba.
    As my post above notes- I won't be making the same mistake twice!
