JVC AR32R4S - Picture Off Centre

    Hi All

    Had a new JVC AV32R4S for about a week now. My first widescreen TV. What I have noticed is that looking at the TV front on the black band that surrounds the tube is slightly less on the left vertical. Whilst this is not too noticable when watching a widescreen picture, when local news is on more black bar appears to the left and right of the picture and it quite obvious that there is more black bar on the right of the picture.

    Is this typical?

    Should the picture be bang in the centre?

    Should I contact the supplier?

    Thing is it is huge and trying to get it back in the box will be difficult.

    Is this viewing a scart source? Perhaps RGB, try changing output of digibox, dvd to Svideo or Composite and see if it changes. There is a thing called RGB shift where the pictures moves to the side when a RGB source is being displayed, some TV's will have an option to correct for RGB sources
