JVC 28E50 and S-Video via SCART

I am looking to buy a new CRT.

My main viewing source is a PC, Radeon 9800 via S-Video.

I came across this set: JVC 28E50.

I found the manual online and it descibes (poorly) that the TV is equipped with 2 SCART sockets. The 2nd SCART socket can accept an S-Video input.

Now call me a numbnuts (I have climbed a big learning curve the last couple of days) but does this mean that I can use an S-Video to SCART lead and that the picture will be just as good as if the TV had an S-Video socket?

In other words, can I buy with confidence. Can I rest assured that if it says the 2nd SCART can do S-Video input, then it will all work fine?

Should do...remember you'll need a separate feed into the set for audio...you'd be best to get a phono and S-Video scart adapter...the switched input/output type will work fine.
