    Thanks.

I am the same with the pickyness. I wish a could turn that OCD bit off in my brain :)

I panicked when you said there were wires! That photo is from a couple months ago the wires are actually for the phone. They are all sorted now :)

The Corner unit is excellent. Ikea for about £80. The bottom half was meant to be a DVD draw but instead I just used the front as a cover that hides my amp and HTPC.

I notice you mention convergence issues with anti alliasing on.
Not sure if you are aware that you can do a basic adustment in the service menu (which isn't a nightmare by the way).
    Mute and Info button together.
    Press 9
    adjust
Blue button to go back to factory convergence setting (if needed).
Press menu to come out of service menu.
    Settings saved automatically.

It turned out not to be a convergence issue. Windows anti aliasing (clear type) uses "sub" pixels http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ClearType. It is very specific to LCD screens. I had it on in error. On the JVC it ended up causing what looked like convergence issues.

Either way thanks for the info on the service menu. I may have a look around in there. So far I have had no need to go to those menus.

    Me again!
Anyone know if I am correct in thinking that if I set the dubbing arrow from the TV icon to EXT-2 does this mean that anything that's on the TV will be output through EXT-2?
I would experiment for myself but it's a real pain to move the TV and swap connections only to find out I was wrong.
    Thanks.

Thought I'd post that, like most if not all TV's, you cannot output an HDMI signal through a scart in RGB or composite. :(

You've changed TV's since I last visited the forums, what happened to your Sony? Your reviews of the JVC make it quite tempting but there's no-way the missus will agree an upgrade barely 12 months after getting the Sony.

I really missed having a 55" plus set.

If I didn't already have a Sagem sitting in my front room though, I'd jump at it.
What you're letting it go for is a steal.
Someone is going to be very happy!:smashin:
