I found a reel of JVC 16-gauge loudspeaker cable around the house, sold at Dixons for about £15 for 16 metres (including 4 banana plugs and a cable-cutting tool). The cable is 2.5mm per core (79 strand, perhaps?)

I just wondered, does anybody know if this cable good enough to utilise for my M7SD surround speakers (via Denon 2802 amp), or is it worth me paying up for better cable for my surrounds?

    Thanks
