Just wondering do 3d blu rays only work on a 3d tv?



I will have to connect to the other tv.
it does not read but it did come with the glasses to
this defo my best buy of the year just £35 I paid for the tv and player.
the other blu rays play ok.
hopefully, the batteries in the glasses go

Judging by the message on screen the player is "refusing" to play the disc. It has read it and decided it can't be played. That is most probably because the TV is not a 3d TV and this fact has been communicated to the player. HDM does that; it "handshakes" between source and display and communicates capabilities.

I believe you should have a 2d version of the film in the box; you'll have to use that. Or get a 3d capable TV.
