What a great film and a top DVD.

One of the best DVD transfers I have seen in a long time, it is simply crystal clear.

For substance, this film puts the bombastic hollywood filmmakers in their place and makes films like Van Helsing look even worse.

    Highly re-watchable too.

Do check it out. I give it -

    :smashin: :smashin: :smashin: :smashin:

Really good film - Paddy Considine was very good. Where is he from? I know he's English, but his Irish accent in "In America" was very convincing and his E.Midlands accent in this was spot on.

    Brutal, but well worth viewing

I wish I had seen Dead mans shoes before the weekends events. I would have been in a better frame of mind to have a pop back.

I should have at the very least said

    'Jog on....You mug '....... :D

Great scene that one apparently this is only Paddy Considines 3rd or 4th movie ,I believed him didnt you? The lad who plays his brother has never been in a film before and stepped in at 2 days notice.

Yes. Amazing film making and acting. One of those Rocky 'do the bastard' moments.

Only just gotten around to watching this on my Brother's recommendation. A very good film but it didn't half make me feel uncomfortable at times; something I've never really had before in movie watching... :)

Cracking film, the scene in the social club at the begining is a movie classic.

    "What are you looking at?"
"YOU YER ****!" (spit with pure venom!)

    Second everyones comments here.

Very good film with great acting made on a low budget. Good ending too.

Always think its a shame films like this don't do better. I would say many people walk past it on the rental shelves on their way to collect the latest Hollywood 'blockbuster', which more often than not disappoints.

If you haven't seen it, rent it soon.
