    Hi all,
I'm thinking about a rear projection set, just to get the biggest widescreen for my money! Any recommendation's or hints/pearls of wisdom?

Unfortunately money IS a problem (no surprise there - except for Ian J, have you checked out his salary thread?!?!?!) so it'll be monthly instalments but... I just wanna big telly!!!

    Thanks
    John

I personally don't like RPTVs. The contrast is way too low for me. they have improved over the years but still not good enough IMHO.

What about a plasma, £2499 seems a good deal from RS if they have the stock.

Still not entirely convinced of plamsa. It's the whole dead pixel thingy, same as front projectors... I could be wrong though.

Unfortunately Richer Sounds don't do a credit/monthly instalments option so I can rule them out.

What about applying for a credit card with a 0% interst free option for six months?

then when the six months is up get another 0% balance transfer CC

I've done this a few times and bounced around a debt on 0% while the money has been sat in my account earning interest:devil:
