Hi, I spoke to pc world today, was going to cancel my order, but he said anyone that had ordered before november 9th should get theirs before xmas, apparently they have a large shipment due in on wednesday, but they should know tomorrow, I won't hold my breath!

Currys are 100% total sh1 t on this issue.

They should have refused the orders and I will not listen to anyone arguing their case along the lines of 'Nintendo didn't deliver, we are the good guys' yadadadada boring.

La la la la, not listening, la la la

I have consitently found Toys R Us to be the best place to pre order from. Both with the Wii and the 360.

They will get any future pre-order money I have.

I will cancel my preorder from Currys and wait until they are readily available. Currys are obviously incompetent, I should have not ordered from them after experiencing the shower of ***** of pc world over the years.

As long as I get it before Mario comes out I will be happy.

Can't be arsed with the stress of chasing after this console!

Totally agree. Came up trumps with both my Xbox 360 and Wii on launch day. Wouldn't even consider another retailer before them. Only small gripe is that you usually have to pre-order a package rather than just the console. However I sold the games I didn't want on ebay, some of them for more that retail (wii games), so no problem really.

How does a high street electrical store like Currys just get one, where as a Supermarket such as ASDA gets 100???

Don't forget that Currys and Dixons dropped the Gamecube fairly early after launch so i am sure that Nintendo remembers this when allocating consoles.

The previous post sums up my thoughts, I work for DSG and we had a big argument with Nintendo and hence have now been shafted. I believe Asda has been given more stock than our entire group!

I didn't pre-order from our group as I suspected a cock up like this may occur. Apologies to all those unfortunate enough to have been let down (although stores should be grovelling to you guys right now).
