Yeah, I also nearly went ballistic after seeing this movie. The story (what story?) only serves to link some scenes of shooting and explosions, giving it a B-movie feel even though it's starring some big names like Antonio Banderas and Lucy Liu.
But she did look good in that movie I have to admit!

Anyhow, this will probably become the new test disc of the year as the sound effects will give your system a workout as you have never heard it (assuming they transfer it to DVD as it was played in the cinema). Forget SPR or U571! The soundtrack isn't too bad either, at least the music is fast paced and hip.

So nothing new, in fact quite a dissappointment with some styles stolen from the Matrix, Face/Off and Behind Enemy Lines - a wasted opportunity indeed.

Conclusion: * * 1/2 out of 5

I did hear it was a bit naff.:( Poor old Antonio, so much promise when he started out now he's becoming a just another crap B movie actor.

I think this is the only film in recent memory to get 0% on Rottentomatoes.com. Plus, it lost a ton of money. (which is a good thing)

Pointless eye-candy taken to the extreme.

Still, it's better than XXX, I wager. ;)

I haven't seen XXX but I wouldn't bet on it ...

Warners are releasing the R1 disc in December if anyone's interested
