The Newcastle JL have just pricematched their Bluewater branch at £2,899. The instore price was £3,200.
    Get it delivered next saturday.
    Anyone recommend any RGB scarts?
Am I best connecting DVD with component to plasma?

    Can't wait, 7 days & counting....

    Regards

Did they give you any idea of stock levels ? I'll be in the market shortly for one of these.

try the Philex Thor scart, I have it and the picture is really good , could you let me know if you have any lip sync problems with digital telly?
Nearly bought a Progressive Scan DVD player today, but after reading some forums that it hardly makes any difference decided not to.

Try the component cables in the AV Forums Powerbuy.

I have that cable for my 42PD3000 and the pic quality is outstanding using my Denon 2900:smashin:

Is component better than RGB then?
Got component on my current DVD player but it hasn't got an RGB scart, just a standard one. Will this make a substantial difference in PQ

I can only talk about my experience, and the component video is a lot better than the S video I had for a few weeks before I got the component.

I think that most people will agree that component video does give the best picture quality with the bigger plasmas(42"+)

Am sure that many will disagree too!!!!:) :) :)
