Went for the Sony KDL40V4000 after reading alot of reviews etc on here i decided to go for it

just hope it gets here now lol ordered it from digital empire ... looks like they have bad reviews lol ... may never get here reviews of them are very 50/50 so we will see

I bought mine from them for £618 shipped about a month ago.

It said in stock on the website when i bought it but it turned out it wasn't. They messed me about loads with the delivery dates and I had to keep ringing them but I got it eventually 2 weeks later.

i phoned up also and asked them if it was in stock they said yes ... for what it means lol ... and will be with me early next week ... im worried now herd loads of horror storys from this place im wondering if to cancel my order before its to late and pay the extra to get from a decent place ?

when i ordered my tv with Digitech electronics i paid for next day delivery. Telly turned up the very next day at 10 in the morning, best 50 quid i ever spent

ok thought i would update this thread.... TV just arrived .. box looks in fine condition ... will look forward to setting it up when i get home

How you getting on with it? Interested to hear how it works with the HTPC as I've read that it has some minor edge enhancement which can't be turned off and I'm concerned how it would affect a 1080p signal being fed from a PC.
