    Hi!

Gor my Panny PW5 yesterday and the picture is stunning!!!
I'm running a Primare V25 DVD player with progressive component
output both in NTSC and PAL. Those PAL progressive signals are impressive!

    Got a couple of questions...

-Is there any rotation of the picture to avoid burn-in(can't find it..?)

-Should I turn the 3:2 pulldown on?

-Should I turn Screensaver to on?

-Should White Balanse be set to : Normal?

    Thanks!

    Enjoy your plasma Claus!

I love mine and have a Panny Progressive XP50 DVD player winging it's way from the States.

    Regarding 3:2 ,

Don't quote me but I think if your dvd player is already doing progressive for NTSC then you don't need it on in the panel although i might be wrong.

I don't bother with the screensaver

White Balance: Depends if you like the picture or not.

    Steve.

Claus: As has been stated. If your DVD has 2:3 detection then it doesn;t matter. If you have a VCR attached and watch NTSC Video tapes then stick it to on. If you are in an NTSC broadcast country then stick it to on.

White balance: High is NUTS too blue
Normal is still too hot (blue)
    Low it too red (cold)

Low is closest to correct but you will probably prefer Normal. I am sure you would prefer correct though;)

There is a 'wobble' feature on the extended setup menu (press "setup", highlight "OSD language", press & hold "surround"). This, I think, is the rotation setting. Although when used on mine, it just seems to creep the picture in a single direction....
