I have just taken delivery of a Fujitsu P42VHA30 plasma and have to say the PQ is awesome !!! (even via scart!) I have waited until it arrived before getting any converters etc as I wanted to wait and see what the PQ was like via scart. I was particularly worried about the Sky PQ but have to say it is excellent (connected by RGB Scart). I am still playing around with picture settings. Now I need to decide how to connect up my DVD Player for best quality. My kit is as follows: Fujitsu P42VHA30es Plasma Pioneer DV 717 DVD Player (no component out, only scart) Sky Box Sony STR-DB925 AV Amp Panasonic VCR Which of the following would give me the best picture quality with my DVD player: a. DVD Player to JSTech RGB-VGA converter b. DVD Player to JSTech RGB-Component converter c. DVD Player direct to Plasma (Scart-Scart) When funds permit I may upgrade my DVD player to a progressive scan model with component outputs so it seems pointless getting the JSTech RGB-Component converter. I suppose what I am really asking is whether the JSTech converters can really improve the PQ as against going direct (even if it is via scart!).
