    Hi All
Just had HD installed.... havent got my Samsung F86 yet so watching through my CRT but thought best I try the HD using my SM225MW monitor/tv.

Well PQ is very nice... even SD channels seem better. However 2 really annoying things. HD channels seem very jerky. panning shots are terrible. Cant believe this is normal???

Also rewind and ffwd - box sounds like a bag of bolts but is quiet otherwise.

Have I got a dud? Dont really care about the noise but the jerky movement is really bad. I guess it could be my screen but I doubt it!

I noticed that at first too. It's normal for people who are very sensitive to this sort of thing, in fact if you look hard you will prob notice it on a normal SD channel, if you look for it. I thought my projector was defective at first as i was very sensitive to the stutter on pans on bbc hd.

This stutter is just the same as SD stutter, but because it's in HD it's like the stutter has taken on a new life, trust me, give it a week or two and your brain with begin to ignore it, mine has now.

Yes, I suffer big style from this as well as I have very good eyesight and notice panning stutter really easily. I actually went round to a friends house and watched there 32" CRT just to make sure this problem existed in SD as well which it did.

I am slowly getting more used to it. Slow pans look amazing though.

After being stuck in a hotel all last week watching sky sd on a LCD display I really noticed the HD difference upon getting home.
