All I can say is wow..... The new speakers s**t all over the old one.

Old speakers: Aego M 2.1 (I paid £100, but they are on sale for around £175 now). Highly rated computer 2.1 set.

    New speakers: Monitor Audio BX1 (I paid £100), plus Lepai LP-2020A (£20).

So basically the same cost, but the new system is infinitely superior.

Aego satellites just too small, and as I understand it the sub had the same sized drivers as are in each of the BX1.

I have the Aego M2.1 and found there seemed to be a 'hole' in the overall sound. They took some getting used to but nowadays I just use a headset and the Aego is in a cupboard somewhere.
