from eBay. I already have Sky Digital installed. What do I need now? Is it a MUST to have a quad LNB? Any help appreciated.

A quad LNB would be a good idea if you want to make use of the recording features. However you should still be able to record what you are watching and do live pause - rewind with just the single lnb.

If you do want to get hold of a quad - they are quite cheap on ebay and you can replace the LNB on your existing dish quite easily. A trip to maplins will get you another sat cable run and some f-connectors for the second feed to the box (to allow you to record 1 channel while watching another). Invariably the trickiest part is finding enough of a hole to get the cable into your living room.
