    Hi Arcam fans,
looked on this forum for ages, very impressed I have to say.
Just bought a DV78 to upgrade from a Pioneer 575.
I've not demo'd it but I had some Arcam hifi years ago and it was spot on.
And yes I've had some NAIM stuff aswell.

The question is have I done the correct thing?
Bought it on ebay today, its two weeks old and cost me just over £400
I've been thinking of upgrading for months, been looking at cambridge audio stuff to go with my amp but it looked such a bargin.

So what do you think, I'm interested in your thoughts.

I should point out that I've been looking for some good cd reply also.

looking forward to your replys, cheers.

    Hi naimsgone,
Congratulations, good choice, I do not think you will be dissapointed.
I bought mine about 3 weeks ago, and I am enjoying it very much.
It will take a few days of playing cd's before you will hear the real benefit of the cd player side of the DV78.
The Picture Quality is excellent on component progressive scan.

    happy viewing

    cheers
