    Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question so if it's not forgive me

But I'm very interested in the Lumia 900 and I know WP8 Handsets are coming soon and I won't be able to afford them but I have found a plan which has 1.5GB Mobile Internet. Is this enough for a Windows Phone? I have been a BlackBerry user but want to change to one of these but cautious if the 1.5GB Mobile Internet is going to be enough? :/

I'll only browse web pages, check Facebook and read e-mails and all that while I'm out, but then use Wi-Fi at home for YouTube and all the other stuff. I was just cautious being if the phone updates itself a lot while I'm on the move then 1.5GB is not going to cut it, unless there is a way I can turn off all updates until I get home?

    Regards,

    Kieran :smashin:

The thing is I don't really like the Android OS so it's not a lot then? But what if I disable updates? I'm not using it all the time just on the move and then Wi-Fi at home?

    Regards,

    Kieran

I have a Lumia 800 and used around 300mb a month. I do have wifi at home but am always using my phone for the web and news apps when out.

I think you will be fine with 1GB.

I've the HTC windows phone and 500gb of data - I only use about 120gb a month but not on facebook at all. I am on the internet a bit and tend to update things using my allowance as well. The OS doesn't really allow you to update anything too big on data, it says you need to be on wifi or connected to your PC.

I think you'll find that1.5gb is more than enough to use.

Amazon.de has until the 13 September a discount code worth 50 Euros on the Nokia Lumia 900.
So the total price of a white version costs approximately £269.

With the use you mention, you won't get anywhere near 1.5GB/month. 1.5GB of mobile data is a lot, you'd only hit that if you regularly stream music or video.
