That link is a pic of a minority report steenbook
All fixed now
A bit cheaper on amazon.fr at 63.79 euros delivered (£56.30) vs £73.99 on amazon.uk
That's containing all 4 films too, whereas the UK release is split with JW getting a standalone release.
UK get short changed yet again.
The UK release (for the 3 movies) has the HDR sticker on the front...the French release (of the 4 films) doesn't have this...
I take it the French release will be HDR, and just haven't got the HDR sticker in their image?
That's quite a good price, although the Zoom edition would be £45 for the first 3 movies, however it is showing as out of stock with them...
I'm eyeing up the US version with all 4 films in at $57.
The superior US release with all 4 films is about £50 delivered from www.importcds.com
I'd rather pay extra for the French at this point, the US digibook packaging can do one.
Zoom down as sold out already, hopefully they will get some more in
Hasn't actually been up for pre-order yet.
the 1080p remaster of jp was a major disappointment, hope the 4k release uses a new master
Jurassic Park Trilogy (4K UHD + BD +UV) [UHD]
Hope so,as those i pre orders the steel books
Can’t believe we in the UK just get the three films (and pay a considerably higher price for the privilege!). Just put in an order for the US ver at £45 delivered for all 4 films. Yes its the digibook packaging I assume but can live with that for the better all round package.
Any chance of a link?
I was going to order from importcds.
Significantly cheaper £64 for all 4 in one set vs £85 for the trilogy and then JW separately
I've put a PO in with Zavvi for the time being but if the price doesn't go down I'll be going with the French set
Once again fellas. Buy with caution knowing Universal inconsistent track record on 4K UHD and their treatment of JP films till date. I fear this will be a repeat of Bourne with some tinkering here and there.
Its Universal, they will be the exact same discs as we get.
Think I will be doing the same as those digibooks seem to have a habit of scratching discs but have to admit £46 delivered for all four is mighty tempting.
They have been recycling the same Blu-rays for nearly a decade now which used a dated transfer so at the very least the UHD of the first film should use the 4K transfer they did back in 2013 for the 3D but brand new 4K transfers for all 3 would be very welcome.
Its just under £46 delivered from ImportCDs.
Zoom listing now available to pre-order: Jurassic Park: Trilogy Collection (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital Download) [UHD]
HMV link: Jurassic Park: Trilogy Collection
Canceled my steelbooks, this set will do fine
I would much rather have the original trilogy on its own. The USA set will be dated as soon as the fifth film comes out. I say bravo Universal! This way you can wait for the Jurassic World UHD trilogy set or buy them separately, to go with the original trilogy. Pick up the trilogy set and wait until the price comes down on the Jurassic World 4K.
that's why my expectations for JP are low, I thought the 2013 remaster was lacking.
Never assume anything about Zavvi prices, except perhaps they will be higher than elsewhere...
Yep I've cancelled with Zavvi now and gone with Zoom and used their 10% off first order code. £63 for all 4 films happy days
The Bourne set is fine. Okay, they're not among the best 4K discs, but there is a noticeable upgrade in resolution and the HDR looks nice. I paid £27 for the set on Zoom day. HDDigest rated the first four films 3.5/5 and Jason Bourne 4.5/5. You can't please everyone.
The 10% off code works every time. Has anyone told Zoom? It used to work on the two for £30 offer but it no longer does.
The French set is almost a tenner cheaper, including shipping...
True. But it has French writing and menus and it might be a digibook.
Foreign writing doesn't scare me.
I don't see them differing from the UK discs, or arriving in a digibook, because Universal International are cheap-asses whose mandate is usually 'chuck it in a big plastic case'
