I thought the begining sucked big time :-(

It was like watching a re-run of the land that time forgot!

The scenes where the man and boy were para-sailing, the back drop of the island was really badly matted and you could see the black outline. Abysmal quality!

    Things improved though, thank goodness

watched it last night on my bosses 50" plasma screen, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, although some of the effects were a bit on the amature side. Personally I thought the dinosaurs in the first film looked more realistic than the ones in JPIII.

Rented it, couldn't force myself to buy it.........!

R2 D.T.S not bad soundtrack, could have sworn my sofa left the ground a couple of times....!

Average movie, me thinks they are running out of ideas...

No doubt there will be a J.PIV.........Lets hope they go back to the plastercine dino's.....with wallace and gromit expressions....!!

Swallowed my pride, and ordered the R1. You have to put aside things like script, originality and acting talent sometimes for the sake of a good, loud, thought free laugh.

As for running out of ideas, that's not going to happen. They'll just keep using the same one.

IMHO sucked. Watched it at the cinema because some friends wanted to go and nothing much else was on.
JPI was ok but the rest are just sequels trying to cash in on the original. And that's not very original.

I am still waiting for Titanic II though ....

I will second Confucius & mys` jimmy in their findings,it was a good film, some excellent camera work, some nice humour pieces, sound quality esp` on the DTS had the Bonedaddy couch a wobblin and a jiggin`:D and it had all the right components of a great popcorn flick, well worth the price of the disc, all the Jurrasic films are hardly rocket science are they??,and for my money this one had a bit of everything and was a good couple of hours of entertainment, now back to the `daddy` couch and mrs daddy  heh! heh!
