Hello Summer :)

Well done to spannersatcx for winning two on the bounce with a win in May's competition on the theme of "Lines, Curved, straight, coloured, jagged, leading, broken?" with THIS PICTURE

For June he has chosen the theme "Reflections"

Just to be clear folks; a camera of any description is allowed; be it a pro DSLR down to the camera on your phone; there is no restriction as long as EXIF data is recorded in the original file :)

If it isn't; then email the original picture to [email protected] to verify your entry!

TBC Competition sponsor Gordon @ will offer his services of a free ISF calibration to a TV/Projector of your choice.

Terms and conditions for ISF Calibration prize:
Prize: 1 x ISF calibration
Only available on mainland uk
Calibration will be done when Convergent are already in your area
There is no cash alternative
If winner is out with mainland UK then if travel costs are covered he will honour the prize

Also as a courtesy; I've been asked to add a little disclaimer that any entries can be added to the AVForums Instagram page; a link will be added back to your Flickr page if you have one, so you may get more traffic too :)

Competition will close tuesday 29th 2021.

I’m off to North Wales next week so hopefully I can find something to enter. I very much doubt I’ll get out during the golden hours for photos (I’m always reminded it’s a family holiday not a photography holiday ) but hopefully the weather will be kind and I’ll get something. Betty (our Frenchie) won’t be able to make it to the top of Snowdon but we are planning to explore Snowdonia.

Enjoy the home hoods :) It's been lovely weather here in the past week or so, you will probably bring the rains :p I love the mountains here, such stunning sceneries where ever you look. Can't lose by coming here.

Do you have any recommendations for circular walks that are around 2 hours please (our dog can't walk much further in one go)? We are staying in Y Gorlan and are happy to travel up to an hour.

Unfortunately my knowledge of the walks around Snowdonia is non-existent. But people where you are staying, will more than likely have all the knowledge you need to find the best suited walks for you all, including the furry friend :) We are not hiking people, despite having the best hiking grounds in the country right around the corner. I'm sure you will also encounter a lot of other walkers who are willing to share their favourites :) All I know is, that where ever you will go, it will be beautiful.

Not to worry, thanks. We've actually just been given a book of circular walks that looks great. Fingers crossed for the weather, although the forecast isn't looking great at the mo

It changes at the drop of a hat here, especially in the mountains :) And even if it rains a bit, it won't get that cold, unless you go seriously high up. Then it's always worth taking warm gear to go :)
