    just replacing old disk drive when they say make sure jumper is set to cable select whet and where is th jumper :lease:

    The jumper is normally next to the IDE connector on the back of the drive, and normally has 3 possible positions, "Master" (M), "Slave" (S), and "Cable Select" (CS).

    By the way, if you are new to PC hardware, be very careful removing the IDE cable from the original drive ! Pull on the plug, not the cable, or you could damage the cable.
