It's a bit like using the cheapo leads that come with your DVD player rather than buying in decent ones. The JS box over the Syncblaster is cleaner (if you use decent cables to and from it!) and the colour is so much more stronger, almost too strong for people used to the paltry output of some consumer electronics! I have to admit my pops had a Syncblaster for over a year and being pops he didn't really care what was going on under the bonnet and had no reason for complaint. But when I swapped in a JS box without telling him he could tell immediately that it was better and refuses to have the syncblaster. Actually I'm quite mean to my old man cos I'm always going round his house and swapping things around without telling him to see the "lay-man"s reaction!!!!!
