Hi. I am planning on purchasing a Plasma real soon (either the 42VR5 or the PWD6) and I would like to connect a DVD player to the screen via Component and an NTL Digital Box to the screen using the JS RGB > VGA converter and into the 15-pin VGA port on the screen. http://shop.nexnix.co.uk/Signal_Convertor_Boxes.html I have read that this solution will give me the best PQ for the TV signal as the converter cleans up the feed and all round improves it for the Plasma screen. I was wondering though, will the TV signal coming in via that JS converter auto switch the screen's widescreen mode based on the format of the broadcast? like, I have seen with some CRT's that the auto adjust during the adds when adds come on with bands on the top and bottom and also that when a movie is on and in WS the screen auto adjusts to best cater for this. What is the best way to connect a TV signal into a Plasma and achieve the best PQ and also maintain auto widescreen picture adjusting? I hope someone can give me some advice on this. Many thanks. Ciaran.
