    Hi,

I'm trying to sort out my AV cable jumble and want to buy some sort of device so I can plug my scarts in which will switch my devices as I'm haveing trouble trying to connect them up to my TV which only has 2 scarts, only one being RGB.

I have Sky digital, Tivo, Dvd player, DVD recorder and a Gamecube. There seems to be quite a difference in price from the Joytech and the Quintro (£27 vs £80), am I right in assuming the quintro is more versatile regarding recording options? For example I could record to DVD from either Tivo or Sky using the quintro but not the joytech? Probably I'm a bit confused, any thoughts appreciated.

Also, the cheapest I have found the Quinto is £79.99, is that a good price?

    Thanks in advance,

    Julie

I have the joytech and it works fine....I can recommend.

The only drawback I can tell is that with the Joytech you have to manually switch using a remote, whereas with the Quintro I believe it is automatic.

does that quintro have a scart built in so you dont need to buy a seperate scart to connect the swuitch box to the tv, also is it worth the money, like is there any picture/signal quality loss??
