Joyride (US) or Roadkill (UK) is still the best film I have seen so far this year and have just found it - feature packed, for £14.99 at www.cd-wow.

Is there anywhere else though that stocks R1 dvds where I might be able to pick it up cheaper??

    www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk

this site is mentioned a lot in previous threads

    great site

i thought the film was ok but the ending ridiculously OTT

Aparently quite a few alternate endings were filmed quite interesting if they are on the dvd i notice the cd-wow one was a special edition

The deleted scenes and alternative endings are on the disk yes. I have had the film for a few months and i think it was great.

The ending could have been better and its left it open for a sequal

Hugely under rated film. Shame it was missed by so many people.
Steve Zahn is excellent in it. Poor old Paul Walker, two 'showcase' films and Zhan steals it from him in Road Kill and Vin Diesel crucifies him in 'Fast & The Furious'.

I suppose that's what comes of being a blonde Keanu Reeves :)

The extra endings are worse imo. The one that makes it 20 mins longer is boring.

It was a vastly under-rated film.

    Shame!

I just watched it after picking up R1 SE cheap (under £9 without P&P) from A&B Sound. Loved it :) I kinda got the impression they couldn't make their minds up about the last 30 mins with the numerous alternate endings tho :D

That Venna bird had some sparrows down her t-shirt throughout, but she reminded me too much of a young Barbra Streisand to get my Rusty Nail going  :D Shame her mate didn't feature more prominently - especially as she had a great car too :D

great film and great value disc... the Rusty Nail voice auditions are so bad they are funny, none of them came close to the fella from silence of the lambs who played it in the end. Eric Roberts indeed!
