    I may be forced to cut and join my Sky+ cables. So long as I use decent CT100 cable and F connectors can anyone report any bad experiences.

    Dave,

    Extended my Sky+ twin cables by about 10m using a F connector 'joiner' and quality CT100 cable last month without a problem.

    Signal quality and strength readings didn't drop at all.
