I have 8 separate divx avi files that I want to put onto DVD. To do this, I need to join the 8 files into one, in order to encode it to Mpeg with TMPG, after having extracted the AC3 sountrack.

I used VirtualDub to join all these files together (using the open 1, then append others to it method) but the audio goes out of sync at the first join.

Does anyone know why this is? I searched around and found a method to combat it, which is to resave the first file with a 15 frame offset in the Select Range option in Vdub, but this only works when joining two items. Am I going to have to join 1 to 2, then resave and join 1+2 to 3, then resave and join 1-3 to 4 etc etc to get this to work?

    :lease: Any help appreciated.

    Nick
