Are Layoyo a reliable Asian retailer & how much would postage be for the above DVD to the UK?
I have looked at their shipping guide and it works out just under £5.00.
However i do not know whether anyone can simply register to but their products or whether you have to be a company.
I tried regestering but they wanted a company name and business number.
I registered an old email address & the shipping is $70 HK, which is pretty expensive, considering yesasia ship/VAT free for free over $49!
That maybe the case but dvd's are generally much cheaper at layoyo than yesasia (sometimes 1/3 the price)The shipping is usually HK$70 for up to 3 discs so is a bargain the more titles you purchase. I've probably bought about 100 dvd's from layoyo the last couple of months and have found the prices and service to be better than most receiving deliveries around 3-5 days after being notified of shipping. I have yet to be caught by customs too which is an added bonus
How long does it take for the DVD to reach the UK?
Also I have ordered the DVD, but I haven't received an email conformation, should I receive one?
This is a pre-order that's due around the 10th June so I'd expect it to ship around that time. They don't usually email you to advise shipment but you can review the orders status at any time if you login to your account
I usually receive packages 5-7 days after they have been shipped and as yet have never been clobbered by customs.
What has been the most you have ordered without being Customed?
6 dvd's would be the most in one package . They don't appear to put a description of contents or any value on the outside of the package just your address. The invoice is inside so if customs wanted to look they would find all the details they require. I've had about 20 deliveries without any problems
