    Hi,
I've just got a second hand CRT from Ebay and its great. Potentially even better is the guy I got it from purchased it from John Lewis in 2004. He gave me all the (5 year) warrenty stuff, but does any know if the warrenty is transferrable? It would be nice!
    Thanks

Yes it is - but HE will have to contact JL to let them know of the change of warranty details.

I've just moved and when I phoned JL to give them my new address, they said it didn't matter so long as the serial number on TV and guarantee matched.

ah - now that raises a question....

I have the original till receipt (minus the CC number which has been cut out) and also something called the "John Lewis - Customer Requirement Confirmation" which has the the delivery details - address, delivery date, item details, price.

Neither of these mention the serial number, but the till receipt does say "this item is covered by our guarantee - 5 year parts and labour".

    Both mention the stock number.

Do John Lewis give a seperate warrenty document in addition to the above?
