    Quick Question.

My Panasonic TH42PX60 is still suffering from image retention even after 1000+ hours of running it in.

I've contacted John Lewis about the problem to which they promptly sent round engineers to take a look at the set. They confirmed that the set needs looking at and went away to decide either to repair it or replace it. They phoned the other day to come round and take the TV away for repair, I wasn't in so they couldn't collect and it got me thinking.

My question is this: Due to my TV only being 6 months old am I entitled to a complete replacement or a full refund? I don't want the TV to be repaired as I would like a replacement unit or a full refund if they can't replace.

Any help/advice would be handy :)

    No

I'm seeing if anyone on here has had a similar situation with a TV puchased from JL. Always good to do a little background research before I put the question to them.

I've had a look at the sale of goods act but can't see anything clear. Seems a bit of a grey area.
