I went into my local John Lewis (High Wycombe) today hoping to see the PW7, but to my disappointment there were none. On asking the sales assistant they claimed to know nothing of the PW7 and said that they would only be selling the Viera upto Christmas. Has anyone seen the PW7 in John Lewis stores in particular Reading/Watford and how much are they selling it for. No sign of it on johnlewis.com.

I went into JL in Milton Keynes to see if they had them and I was also told they were only selling the Viera for the rest of the year.

JL specialise in selling complete plasma televisions, rather than display-only models (like the PW7). Selling a display-only to an un-educated (in an AV-sense) customer means phone calls from home such as "why aren't I getting any sound from my new TV?" Hence more interest in the Viera than the PW7 on their part.
