Will they be okay for me to use MBNA vouchers after offering a price match (pm)? I don't want to order 1K of vouchers to be told that I can't use them due to the pm!

Hi m8 i will be doing the same as this!! I think thwe gift vouchers look exactly the same as the ones provided in the shop so i see no problem on this!! (great minds think alike) however i have had to apply for a new card as i cancelled my card 3 years ago!! so i just await my card now!! not bad with a 10% off!!

    What's this deal all about?

I've tried googling and searching MBNA but can't find any reference!

first apply for your mbna card at www.mbna.co.uk
then when you have it go here and buy vouchers for John Lewis or many other stores.
www.mbna.co.uk/lifestyle enter code MBNA and choose High Street

Then get a price match against Empire Direct or somebody like that, and pay for the TV with vouchesr effectively getting another 10% off courtesy of mbna, they make there money by hoping you don't pay your credit card bill in one hit.

ahhhh, perhaps it is that you can get them to refund difference if within 28 days of purchase yuo find it cheaper but PM is for 14 days?, or it is willy nilly and at staff's discretion?

Thanks for that. Hadn't heard of this before and could not find any links on the MBNA site for it!

I assume that when you check-out it will check to make sure that you are using an MBNA Credit Card rather than some other, do you know if it matters what type of MBNA card you use as I already have 2 affinity ones and one business one?

Arent they £5 vouchers? So you need to take in 200 vouchers just to cover the cost of a TV for £1000?

Equivilient of paying for the £1k TV with £5 notes? Surely the person wont be pleased having to count it all up and triple check?

Would like to know if it work though as for a saving of £100, i dont really mind if they get annoyed with me :D

Thought it was probably worth applying for a credit card to do this... always good to save even more on a purchase

Does anyone know what card I should apply for, should it be one of the standard MBNA cards, rewards maybe worth doing...

Or can I order one of the Football club ones or a charity one...

So have just ordered the £1250 MBNA vouchers for £1125 as JL also confirmed my Price match!!! Have told them I cant come in until end of next week to pay as i will be out of the country, this will allow me time for the MBNA vouchers to arrive at my door!!!
