Im due to get my reciept in the morning, so i`ll let you know ASAP, and the tv`s here tuesday morning, but i was told i get 5 years parts , and labour warranty thrown in for nothing, as was the delivery. :)
Also £350 cheaper than Currys, which only had a 1 year warranty.

Im getting the Toshiba 32zd26p matey.

I phoned JL, and ordered over the phone!
£850, five year warranty, free delivery!
Online cheapest i could find with 5 years warranty was about £1080.

Currys £1200 with one year, OUCH!

I bought the Tosh 32zt29b IDTV from Vernon Collards, in Rayleigh - Essex. Only cost £1199.50

I thought that was a good price, for an hi-street shop.

Like you say, Curry's charge £1200 for the non-digital set. They're a joke!

    Rookies,
Got my tv today, was delivered in the boxes, one for stand, and one for tv. With no reciepts, or anything. I phoned them today, and they said it was in the post, and the 5 year thing is on the reciept, as Oggy said already.
Nice tv too, well ok i suppose .:clown:

    Hi Rookies,
I phoned my local John Lewis in Kent last thursday, and they phoned the Cheadle branch to check the price, and rang me back confirming the tv was £849 with 5 years parts, and labour warranty, AND free delivery.I ordered it there, and then( over the phone )
Was delivered 10.30 this morning, weighs 56kg ( tv ), and the stand weighs 36kg before constructing.
Im more than chuffed with the tv, and even the stand is top notch quality. :)
I found out about this great deal on another forum:

Hope its ok to paste this on here?

Did that include 5 yr warranty? If so have you got their number and do you know if they still do the 32ZT29 at that price?

    Hiya Jase,

The TV set didn't come with a 5 year warranty, but it wasn't that much for extra cover. I bought the TV on the Sunday after xmas, so I can't see why the sale isn't still on.

The number is: 01268 772237 for the Rayleigh shop.
01268 282326 for the Basildon shop.

    Hi m8,
Mine came with the closed stand, had to build it first, and its really nice quality.
It took a week for my reciept to come from JL, and it just said 5 years warranty. I phoned them, and was told to keep the stickers that come with the tv, which have the model, and serial number on, this reciept needs to be kept safe, for 5 years too apparently! :). Think it may well fade eh!
Seen the open stand, and its horrible compared to the closed one, which now houses a cube, xbox, video, and the game pads, which was nice. lol
    All this for £850, nice.

Mind you, i did have a ghastly problem with flaring, and green ghosting, which has been cleared up now, by altering the manufacture settings for overall brightness, the piccy was also out of foccus!!!
Ill post the link if you want more details, is Kool, and the gang now tho`

I haven`t even tuned in the video yet, as i hardly ever use it m8.
The doors are silver mesh over glass, and nice too.
    Big space inside aswell.
The top door opens upwards, and has a catch to keep it there, and the bottom opens flat.

    Heres a piccy: h**p://www.empiredirect.co.uk/productdetailsnew.asp?modelcode=TOS-32ZD26P

    Hope this helps,

    Spoony.

P.S. You not got yours yet, i thought you`d ordered one m8?

Nah I aint order one yet, i am finding it a nightmare deciding what tv to go for. It a battle between the tosh same as yours. Sony KV32FX66 and the FQ80 but i think the FQ80 could be out of mind now due to price
