John Lewis Epic Instal Fail PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP?

I think people are very protective, and rightly so, when you're hanging a few grands worth of TV on the wall.
But, even 'just' a sound plasterboard surface can very, very easily take the weight of these TV's when very close to the wall. The fasteners are pretty much 'in shear' (pushing down) and not trying to pull the TV out of the wall. A swing/tilt mount is quite different but the fasteners today are designed to take a huge amount of weight individually - and when there's 4 -6+ of them, there really shouldn't be anything to worry about.
In the case of a dot and dab wall, there's 100% nothing to worry about - even the plasterboard around each hole isn't under any direct 'pressure' as it's spread across the surface with the mounting plate. You can also inject some mastic into for each hole to fill the gap immediately surrounding each hole.
Great install jobs by the way! :smashin:
