Honestly, the amount of bad publicity John Lewis is getting here for not price-matching, not to mention the cost of sending out branch staff to check prices and then write letters with lame excuses as to why they won't price match ...... has got to be costing John Lewis a hell of a lot more than just knocking a couple of hundred quid off 50 TV sets to sell to us AV Forum nerds !!

Never Knowingly Undersold = ALWAYS Knowingly Undersold and we don't care !!

I reckon the John Lewis AV Department will eventually be going the same way as PowerHouse !!

Nobody is FORCING you to buy your TV from John Lewis. However, when I buy my next TV, John Lewis will be very high on my list of places to consider.

As this thread has little to do with Rear Projection TVs and more to do with a personal view about one particular supplier, I think it would be best closed.
