John Frusciante - To record only water for 10 days

Interesting one this one. Originally put out in 2001, I was gifted to a few play throughs today and really, really liked it. It's evidently Frusciante, you can hear his trademark melodies and riffs all the way through - if you cut it in half, it'd say "Frusciante" down the seam. He does everything on this album, everything , which seems unusual to me - if you know Chad Smith, why use a drum machine John? I suppose he can look back and say it's all his own work, but still... Some very good tunes and well worth a look in for and Chili's fans out here in musicland (tm)

Mr Frusciante's efforts are available here

That album sounds like it was recorded down a toilet. Imaginative stuff from a top guitarrist.....he has a new album out in a couple of weeks, it'll be interesting to see what that's like!

Rock on.
