I have no idea what this series about but the Sci-Fi deem it fit to add more garbage on the screen to tell us it starts on Monday at 20.00.
Well I do know it is about an amnesiac.

    WATCH IT!!!!

We had the last episode of season 1 here in Holland a few weeks ago and I love the show and hope that season 2 will be broadcast soon

John Doe wakes up on an island with no memory of who he is but he knows literally everything else about everything.

I won't go into too many details but there is a recurring storyline that runs through the first season that comes to a climax obviously in the last episode

I seriously recommend everybody watchs this!!!

Yes I saw a few more ads for it last night and as you say he seems to know everything about everything, they mentioned a weird cocktail and he knew all the ingredients and he as a strange brand on him. Nuff said.

Had a stack of these (basically every episode from 2 onwards) on my Sky+ hard drive. Watched them last night.
For those of you who haven't had the privelage yet, check ou the Sci Fi channel (on screen logo's and all!!! ) for timings of repeats...it's a real cracker.
Basically it's about a guy who woke up on an island and knows nothing about himslef...but knows EVRERYTHING else...and I mean everything. From the ingredients of Coca Cola to the whole of Othello.
It's warming up nicely now at about episode 5....

I also have all the episodes of The Visitor to watch tonight...apparantly this is a real corker too...

Honestly, Sky+...who could do without it??

I've missed all the episodes of the visitor so far and would like to catch up. Anyone know of any repeat showings as I'd really like to see this series?

The Sci-Fi Channel generally repeat all their series straight after their first run.

The Visitor was shown on ITV a few years ago on Saturday about 5 or 6pm.

    jmcr100,

You'll have a long wait for Season 2, as they only made 21 episodes and it has not been renewed for a second season.

Really. It got canned after the first series - presumably too complicated to follow or something (although I never had these problems!)

Believe me, Army Bloke, when you watch the last episode of Season 1, you'll understand that they cannot seriuosly leave it at that!!
They did the same with Space Above & Beyond - a real cliff hanger ending and then they canned the series!!!

Don't these people realise that we want more!!

Believe me, it's worth watching!!! The last moment of the last episode of the series stunned me into silence - I didn't see it coming and I couldn't believe it (in a good way!!)

Don't deprive yourself of this series - maybe they'll see the error of their ways and submit to a second series!!

the real John Doe was the first guy kicked out of the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army/Air force in World War 2. He was asked to leave the regiment due to bad time keeping and was described as a 'worthless nobody' by his C/O as he was stripped of his wings on the parade ground in front of the entire regiment.

This is why time and time again, the name John Doe is used to identify unknown crime victims, myterious people, murder victims and so on in the movies and within the US police force.

Refer to Se7en as an example.

God, I am sad. Very sorry:D

    Cap:smashin:
