Anybody else been watching Joe Doe on the Sci-Fi Channel ? Only 1 epiosode left now, cos it got cancelled after 1 series
Its been the highlight of my Monday nights for the last few months - OK, its not the most original show ever, but its better than 95% of the rubbish on TV.........
Does anyone know of any on-line petitions to bring it back ?
You can just tell its gonna end on a cliffhanger..........

I also think it never fully reveals his origin.

I hate the series ending have secrets never truly revelled like The Nowhere Man or when the series is based on a goal and never reached such as the Invaders or the recent Fugitive.

    Yeah,
    Know what you mean.
X-Files promised to wrap everything up at the end, and never quite managed it, and that went on for 9 seasons !! Another season of Doe would have been good though, oh well, I live in hope.........

It does seem like there's a lot to bring even remotely together in 1 episode.

Fat chance of there being another series tho'

Having already seen Series 1, I wish that another series would come because I hate it when they explain things to a point but obviously not everything because they want to develop the storyline in future series and then they never get made!!

There is a surprise ending to series 1 and one that I didn't see coming and genuinely shocked me!!!

Only good thing about it finishing is that the Sci-Fi channel should stop advertising it next to its logo during every program.

I wonder if this will be one of those 1 season specials, Haunted was the most recent it just stopped, a few years ago there was Brimstone both watch able, brimstone was actually very good, instead we get stuff that never seems to end when, sliders for one.

Im beginning to think its not worth watching US programmes on sci fi. They seem to have a habit of buying cancelled shows.

They showed the writes after the final show and they seem to think you can work out who John Doe is.
They are running a competition to see if the viewers know or is it a ploy to come up with the best explanation.

Can't help feeling that it ended like it did because they were hopeful of getting a second series.

    PLOT SPOILER :

I was kind of expecting it to end the way it did - they were fast running out of people that they mystery bad guy could be. But now that its been cancelled, we'll never know exactly what Diggers involvement with the mysterious group was, who John actually was, or what his relationship to Teresa was. It would have been great if they could made just 1 more episode to explain everything, but I don't suppose thats gonna happen....

    END OF SPOILER.

    Over 13,000 people have no signed an on-line petition to save John Doe - if anybody feels like adding to this number, you can find the petition at ;

Oh, and apparently Meat Loaf played Digger in the un-aired Pilot. How bizarre would that have been ?
