Cracking effort Neil, your style of shooting is right up my street. Last 2 in particular are crackers IMO.

I assume they're private on purpose on Flickr? Just tried to look at your EXIF, what did you tend to shoot with, D750 and 85mm f1.8?

if anyone wants to see my full set let me know i'll send you the album link as its hidden on Flickr

    thanks Roll

thanks Snerks, i shot a whole range of F ranges lol Not strictly on purposes and already taken some feedback from Dan on board about them as im stuck in my studio mode and using a different Aprature than you would use for these type of shots.
So in essence ive used f1.8 f5.6 and f8.
In hindsight more f1.8 would have been good. I love the 85mm i shot some with the d700 at 50mm as well.

Thanks for the info. At the end of the day you're still learning, it will take several weddings before you truly know what you're doing, and even then you'll always be learning. I think you're doing very well so far, I'd hate to be a main tog for a wedding too much pressure for me ;)

I'd like the linky please ;)

It was my second wedding so old hat now. Was good to work with someone as Dan's range of equipment came in handy for a wide shot that i couldn't do and having him there and some help and ideas of what looks good was really good. Between us we got some great shots of the ceremony from different angles which really helps tell a story.
I left the processing down to Dan and I did my own so although people will argue that their album maybe miss match; it was a free wedding! but this way we can both sell ourselves should we wish to do so.

Its just like playing COD/BF if you have an automatic rifle use it, two hands on it and fire away. You may have terrible hit ratio but you'll eventually hit something lol.

And thanks for the kind words im getting there a few things i'd change and some extra knowledge about this that and the other it all helps. Couple that with another d750 and some new lenses i would be happy.

I may even look at nikon flashes one day. But my Yonguo's are doing me well on a budget.
