    Hi,

I'm looking at upgrading my speakers from the Kef Crestas and Q10s to something a bit more special for my Meridian G98/68 set up.

The local M. dealer is suggesting JM Labs floorstanders and is specifically talking about the 714s. I cannot stretch to the DSP's Meridian make.

I need a speaker that has a protective grid on the front, as our little boy likes to try and stand up using my speakers as a steadying post!

Can anyone give feedback of these speakers?

I will be using them for mainly DD/DTS 5.1, with occasional music & DVD-A playback.

    Thanks,
    Pete
