Just found out that he snuffed it the other day. :) Spookily enough I've just spent the past few weeks searching for a deleted CD of his.

He of course made a few classic albums as a member of Traffic, but does anyone remember a really great '70s solo hit he had called "It's All Up To You" ?

Just "rediscovered" this when going throught some of my old 45s recently. Impressed me so much I sought out the CD it came from - "Short Cut Draw Blood" - only to find it was deleted in 2002. Also found out that the other two singles of his I have come from that album too. Have searched the net but can't find it anywhere.

On a bit of a mission for this one. Gotta have it!!!

Can anyone help with a source for rare/deleted CDs?

I think the CD was only ever issued in the UK, on Edsel (but I could be wrong).

Somone on ebay.com has the LP for sale, current bid $2.49 with 3 days to go. Could be option and then burn to CD?

Yup, Edsel was the label. That and another one of his Island albums "Whale Meat Again" were reissued by Edsel.

A lot of Edsel's deleted stuff has been re-appearing as two albums on one CD issues lately, so maybe with his death these two will appear. Or perhaps Island will release them as they are currently releasing remastered versions of their '60s & '70s back catalogue.

Put all six tracks from the three '45s onto MiniDisc for convenience for the time being. Have played "It's All Up To You" to death. Classic song. Can't think why I never bought the album!
