Started this last night, got through the first 2 episodes.
Lots going on, seems to have more pace than season one which was bit lackluster in places. Lots of new characters and old.
Goes deeper in how Jessica became Jessica we see now.
Will update once I finish the series hopefully come Saturday evening.
Not aware of any of the other Marvel characters being in his season also.

PS: Needs to pick some pace even it's 13 episodes.
The Punisher series was the best so far and even my gaffer watched it and he hates Marvel with a passion.

Update (12/03) Well finished it over the weekend and it is better than season one.
Alisa the best character for me (the word *NUTS* comes to mind)

Many thanks for the review Cas,
Have watched everything in the last 3 weeks as I’m stuck home with a broken ankle. Completely agree with your comments on the characters.
Defenders I watched in the last 2 days and it was disappointing, there is little sense to the characters powers. Cage is the most confusing of them all, watching him take a hundred bullets without effect and stop a high speed car without moving...then a ninja knocks him across a room:facepalm:
Will probably start this today but hold out little hope, without tennant I think 13 episodes will get tiring.

I think for the first time in like ever for anything with the word "Marvel" in the title I'm putting this in my "to watch" list rather than my "must watch" list.

Slow burning has now made way for downright boring starting with Luke Cage, running into Iron fist (I've still not watched the final episode) and The Defenders culminating in a major fight against falling asleep after 2 episodes.

FWIW to the makers of these series - these are Super Hero action shows...we watch them to see someone kick butt! No one watching this stuff is remotely interested in banking conspiracies...or is that just me?

I'm 2 episodes in and it's fairly bad. The acting is terrible, with a huge lack of charisma. Very hard to engage with. The tone is suffocating and the pace is glacial - which isn't a problem in itself but with nothing else to keep you interested the plot needs to hold your attention - and it doesn't. Also the PQ is dire once again. They've finally toned down the grain, but the HDR is completely ineffective.

I just started season 2 last night. So far I love it! They are taking the time to develop and explain the characters a bit more and I look forward to the rest of the season.

Watched a few season 2 episodes so far. Different vibe from Season 1. But still a good show and on e of the better Netflix/Marvel shows.

It’s in Atmos and Dolby Vision for anyone with the right kit, I checked today. On the very long to do list.

Stuck inside feeling unwell over the weekend so finished the whole series (unusual for me as I don't usually binge watch). Really liked it, although it did feel like an onslaught of misery for Jessica.

Like how they managed to change the Trish/Jessica dynamic around as well, I felt a lot more empathy for Jessica this time around while Trish became increasingly unlikeable and self-centred.
